Vanderveen-Trafco Electrostatic Loudspeaker Step-Up Transformer are superior, wide bandwidth devices, designed to provide the output voltages necessary to drive electrostatic loudspeakers. With their step-up ratio of 1 : 50 they convert the amplifiers output voltage to a 1 kV high voltage, that drives the Mylar membrane of the loudspeaker. By means of one external resistor, the transformer can be precisely adapted to optimal linear high frequency response.
