Description:
This OPT is meant for medium power high-end push-pull tube amplifiers. Local feedback between the power tubes and the OPT is optimized with UL-taps (40 %) to the screen grids and with CFB-taps (2,23 %) to the cathodes. This transformer is special designed for the TubeSociety Project 2025 where (with the help of LTSpice) various special amplifiers were simulated and constructed. Both the UL- and CFB- feedback create a healthy marriage between the power tubes and the OPT to lower tubes plate resistances. This minimizes the magnetic distortions inside the OPT.
