Description:
This special transformer is designed for 2 x EL34 or 6550 tubes in Unity Coupled mode, invented by the famous McIntosh. The effective primary impedance is 4 kOhm and the secondary is at the standard 5 Ohm impedance. The 70 Watt power bandwidth ranges from 14 Hz up to 440 kHz. The separate 100% cathode feedback-windings allow advanced negative feedback topologies. For general overall negative feedback, a separate secondary winding is added. The transformer is fully potted in an attractive aluminum black textured shell.
