Audiophiles and musicians like valve amplifiers; they sound so good. There are different ways how to get access to this sound: (1) buy an amp and just enjoy it, or modify the amp with special capacitors and resistors and valves; (2) build your own special fantastic amp.
The Vanderveen Project is a DIY project, with universal electronic schematics and universal transformers. Over 20 totally different amps (from SE to PP and PPP …) can be constructed without adding any new component. Just change some wires and the amp changes from SE to PP, and so on.
